The International Coaching Federation British Columbia (ICFBC) Chapter serves all of Greater Vancouver, including the Sea to Sky corridor and the Fraser Valley. The ICFBC Chapter is a vibrant and diverse community dedicated to supporting and encouraging the development of professional coaching.

The website is where you will find all Chapter news, events, volunteer opportunities, and other relevant information. It is also where you would find process documentation for those who are interested in speaking at a Chapter event and/or would like to advertise with the Chapter.

At ICFBC, we host a unique events that endorse Core Competency topics and invites all coaches to share expertise, experiences, and interests. Our Coaches Engage events offer great opportunities to reflect on your own practice, learn from one another, and expand our potential for making greater impacts. Not to mention, you can earn Continuing Coaching Education (CCE) units towards your renewal requirements!
What are CCEs?
Continuing Coaching Education (CCE) are the units you accumulate when you attend coaching courses or training to advance your coaching practice. CCE refers to training, writing, or research in advanced coaching skills directly related to ICF Core Competencies or the professional development of a coach.
What is a CCE credit?
A Continuing Coaching Education Unit (CCE credit) is 60 minutes of either direct educational contact with an instructor (for Core Competency) or self-study (for Resource Development) CCE credits.
Why collect CCE credits?
Coaches must demonstrate they have been involved in their on-going development as a professional coach by renewing their ICF credentials every three (3) years. Renewal involves collecting a total of 40 CCE credits in the three-year period following becoming Credentialed at either the ACC, PCC or MCC level.
The 40 CCE credit requirement to renew Certification is made up of both Core Competency and Resource Development CCE credits.
We also host a wide range of Chapter events – presentations from local thought leaders, panel discussions, organizational engagement series, book clubs, socials and more – to serve the diverse needs of our vibrant coaching community. We encourage you to share your feedback and ideas for Chapter events, so that we can better serve your learning needs!

Volunteer and Contribute
Help our communities flourish through pro bono coaching initiatives, Chapter events during International Coaching Week, and the Coach Giving initiative. You may also choose to serve as a Board Member (two-year term) when an opening becomes available.
